Some events will be offsite but the vast majority of activities will take place at the Flamingo Conference Resort & Spa in historic Santa Rosa. We have agreed a very good room rate for attendees which will not be matched by any other comparable local hotels.

Sonoma County Supervisor Lynda Hopkins represents the geographically large and economically diverse Fifth District. Lynda’s interest in public policy and land use began while attending Stanford University, where she studied environmental problem solving. For over a decade, she and her husband have operated an organic food farm on their family’s land along the Russian River.Lynda is a passionate advocate for environmental protection, coastal access for all Californians, social justice, and early childhood education.
As the Founder and President of VR Wine Business Consulting, Vanessa is sharing her lifetime of wine industry expertise with other wineries and vineyards in California. She offers advice on winery management, increasing direct-to-consumer sales, and on wine marketing. Vanessa has been featured on Univision and the Food Network and has been a guest lecturer in UC Berkeley’s Wine Studies program. She was also one of the protagonists in the Harvest Season Documentary that was broadcast nationally on PBS.

If you intend to fly, Santa Rosa / Sonoma County Airport (STS) is the best option. After a recent expansion, new flights are available to destinations throughout the US on most major airlines. We will do our best to pick up guests from San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) but keep in mind that driving time is often more than 2 hours. Hourly shuttles are also available. You can find the schedule here. Please let us know your flight information so we can arrange transportation if possible.
Yes. A rate of $195 is available if you pay a non-refundable deposit of $50 before September 1. Follow the registration link here to reserve your spot.
All online payments are processed via the PayPal checkout on the registration page. Venmo can also be used by first enabling mobile web purchases in the Venmo app, then navigating to the payment link on your mobile browser. If necessary, we can also arrange a money transfer.
The rooms are priced at $ 139 / night (plus taxes) on the basis of double occupancy. Up to 4 people can share a double double room, but it has an additional cost of $ 10 per person per night (ie $ 159 / night for 4 occupancy)
Yes. Studio rooms and poolside suites are available at a reduced price.

All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us, in which case we will always make a full refund.
Yes, we are working with local clubs in Sonoma County to organize trips and activities (such as a ski trip and a redwood tour) for the week before the event. Details can be found below.
