Some events will be offsite but the vast majority of activities will take place at the Flamingo Conference Resort & Spa in historic Santa Rosa. We have agreed a very good room rate for attendees which will not be matched by any other comparable local hotels.

What To Expect

Meet Friends New and Old

With representatives expected from all of the national associations in Active 20-30 international this is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make many new ones. With such a diverse array of attendees this is a great chance to share successes and inspirations from your clubs and put the friendly back into friendly cooperation.

Location

Situated just 45 minutes north of San Francisco. Discover one of California’s top food, wine and beer destinations, home to more than 425 wineries ranging from rustic to regal. Hike among towering redwoods, cruise along rugged Pacific coastline and get to know inviting towns. Or, just sit back and take it all in.

GUEST SPEAKERS

Mike McGuire was elected to the Healdsburg School Board at 19 years of age, then onto the Healdsburg City Council, Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, and now California Senate District 2. He has been a strong champion for infrastructure, public schools and technical training, and the environment.

James Gore joined the Peace Corps and helped the Bolivia community build water management systems, agriculture production, and a health/hygiene campaign. He was appointed to President Obama's Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Services, where he led nationwide conservation efforts at the intersection of agriculture, business, and environment. He returned to Sonoma County to focus on his hometown and was elected to the Board of Supervisors.

As the Founder and President of VR Wine Business Consulting, Vanessa is sharing her lifetime of wine industry expertise with other wineries and vineyards in California. She offers advice on winery management, increasing direct-to-consumer sales, and on wine marketing. Vanessa has been featured on Univision and the Food Network and has been a guest lecturer in UC Berkeley’s Wine Studies program. She was also one of the protagonists in the Harvest Season Documentary that was broadcast nationally on PBS.

Please note that the event is not all inclusive and the cost of hotel accommodation is not included in the event fee.

How do I get to the venue?

If you intend to fly, Santa Rosa / Sonoma County Airport (STS) is the best option. After a recent expansion, new flights are available to destinations throughout the US on most major airlines. We will do our best to pick up guests from San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) but keep in mind that driving time is often more than 2 hours. Hourly shuttles are also available. You can find the schedule here. Please let us know your flight information so we can arrange transportation if possible.

Is there an early bird discount?

Yes. A rate of $195 is available if you pay a non-refundable deposit of $50 before September 1. Follow the registration link here to reserve your spot.

What payment types do you accept?

All online payments are processed via the PayPal checkout on the registration page. Venmo can also be used by first enabling mobile web purchases in the Venmo app, then navigating to the payment link on your mobile browser. If necessary, we can also arrange a money transfer.

How much are the rooms?

The rooms are priced at $ 139 / night (plus taxes) on the basis of double occupancy. Up to 4 people can share a double double room, but it has an additional cost of $ 10 per person per night (ie $ 159 / night for 4 occupancy)

Are room upgrades available?

Yes. Studio rooms and poolside suites are available at a reduced price.

How do I book my hotel room?

We will be happy to help you with this. Please note that the booking link will only work until 12/22/19.

Can I get a refund on my tickets?

All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us, in which case we will always make a full refund.

Will there be pre-tours?

Yes, we are working with local clubs in Sonoma County to organize trips and activities (such as a ski trip and a redwood tour) for the week before the event. Details are being finalized and will be announced shortly.

We're delighted to team up with other local clubs to offer a range of activities for anybody who will be in town early.
